New discs fitted. Pads are all OK so have left them for now. Now to tackle the outer cv boot on the passenger side and a service is due too. Then it'll be some winter protection for the paint work.
Fitted some new 'used' injectors as I suspected a failing injector. Mpg has nose dived this last week and service light pops up intermittently. Not quite limp mode and a slightly rough idle was developing. Had the same issue on the old Clio so took a punt. Idle is much smoother now so we'll see on tonights commute how the mpg fairs. Got some coils due too just in case.
Final wash and polish in my ownership. Got her prepped ready for her new owner to collect. Full wash and polish. Wheels washed and polished. Tyres dressed. Plastics dressed. Exhaust tips polished. Vacuumed everywhere. Cleaned the suede wheel.
Yes back to France. I had a Spaniard and 2 french guys interested in buying it. Apparently the 225s are either rare or overpriced in Europe as people export them from the UK and mark em up loads. It worked out cheaper for my buyer to hire a trailer and sail to Dover. Then drive 180 miles each way to bristol to get the car he wanted. Really nice guy, came with his brother as he spoke a bit of English, I spoke a bit French so we got through the sale OK. At least this way you pretty much know your not gonna be messed about with or low balled, they're hardly gonna drive an e mpty trailer back to France!
