  1. So have had a sloshing sound in passenger door for a couple of weeks. Hadn’t bothered to investigate but had to open boot other day so opened passenger door (hardly used as!).

Water started dripping/running from bottom of door. Shook door and more came out - was running for about 5 mins.

Am assuming it’s just rain water but fuck knows how it got in their. This happened to anyone else?

    Roll on summer!

  2. Yep, pretty common issue. The door is designed to let some rainwater through and it should drain out the bottom. Problem is, the drain holes get blocked and the water drains slower or not at all if its really bad. You might find that there's water in the bottom door pockets as well which leaks through the speaker grill.

  4. My mrs 2003 fiesta rear passenger door was full of at least 2 litres of water and wouldnt drain because as somebody above stated the drain holes at bottom of door get blocked so door just fills lol. Her door drained for like 4mins plus .

On mine the rain water was dripping in from around the speaker and then down into the door pocket. Fixed it by re-sealing the speaker. Obscene design when you think about it because they couldn't be arsed to fit a 5p plastic sheet in the door for the rain to run down.
