Turns out that the wiring was at fault and my passenger side DRL and ballast were fine after all. So, I now have a ballast and brand new...
I bought a secondhand ballast for £90 off ebay and a new old style DRL cost me just over £100 with my mate's Renault discount. Not exactly cheap.

Had my the mid box chop done on my RS250 last week and made my own quick vid. Pleased with the change it's made and only cost me £60. [MEDIA]
Had my mid box removed last week by my local exhaust place for the princely sum of £60 all in. Made a before and after vid of it. [MEDIA]

How did you remove the glovebox and was it much of a hassle to do? I need to remove mine to gain full access to the fusebox which sits behind it....
Update: This morning, I was pulling and refitting various fuses on the glove compartment fusebox, trying to resolve a 'Check Auto Lighting' error...
It's usually small stones or other foreign material which gets caught between the pad and disc, which causes the scoring. Not a real worry unless...
