Silverstone GP Monday 20th February - £189!!

Not sure if it was the same red MX5 but he was following me briefly, when we came into chapel I noticed him suddenly zip across from one side of the track to the other. My initial thought was that he had spun it but I think he either took a drastic line or overcooked it. When I looked again he was still on the circuit but much further back lol

 

Guys sorry I didn't spend much time with you as we were trying to shakedown our new 330i project car ! Great day though - whose was the Grey+black roof Mk3 pre-facelift RS with zero badging and lightweight wheels ? We had a couple of laps together but I had to yield eventually - mine is dark grey?

Yeah had good time chasing you and the silver one down. I just kept thinking mine had broken... when yours popped and banged!

I was hoping to marry my vbox data and gopro footage with race render, i've never tried doing it before though. My quickest lap was 2:42.78

 

I have an S3 phone built in to my dash running the Racechrono app with a bluetooth OBD2 logging and a 10hz GPS receiver. Then I run footage and data thru racerender to add graphics and combine/ finalise videos.

Ah OK cheers Neil - I guess the 75hp deficit explains a few things ! I feel a bit better.

Ah ah. I was actually surprised how little difference the 75 extra hp and the additional camber made ! ;-)...until I got to hangar straight.

 

Finally got some of my 360 footage uploaded. This is with a few laps you megane boys - including the moment I cut across the black 225.
Helps if you watch in highest quality and via platform that supports the 360 movement (most mobiles and desktops)
