275 Remap Tomorrow

Hahaha, sorry guys, I can assure you I did not make it up, that trip was exhausting!

I must get the print outs from the car on my lunch break and post them up. As suspected the 97 RON fuel held the car back a bit but nothing I can do about that.

Aside from the numbers the car feels like an entirely different animal altogether now, very very sharp and the noise of the slightly extra boost through the decat Akra is bloody addictive, especially through all of those lovely mountain tunnels in Wales

Sorry for the suspense, will post the print outs later on but it made 266Bhp standard, so 5 down on factory spec and 298Bhp mapped, cannot remember torque details etc so will check later on. Paul basically said the fuel held it back a bit and that he could have leaned it out to break 300bhp but I was happy with the way it drove and did not feel the need to lean the car out just for the sake of a couple of numbers on a page.

Really pleased with the outcome, the car just feels so much more aggressive now whilst still putting the power down nicely, first and second gear go by in a blur lol and the noise is fantastic

 

I had my 265 cup mapped in NI, but with the new ECU in this car they could not do it here, hence the trip to Leeds.

 

Just checked, so 298Bhp and 345Lb/Ft

 

Also worth noting that I did have the error in my ECU regarding the knock sensor and cut in power with these models, Paul updated the software to the latest version also, so hopefully some improvement there too.
